Languages of Design Module for BITS Design School (Foundation)

As part of this module, I focused on the external factors, ranging from social, technological, political, cultural, economic influence works of design.

A key part of this module was engaging design students with Godrej Archives, the corporate archive of Godrej Enterprises Group. This exercise provided a fantastic insight into how factors like government policy, import/ export restrictions, markets, various user groups, and geopolitics, influenced the growth of Godrej and its diverse products. It was also a great insight into India’s product and visual communication history, and the inter-and transdisciplinary nature of design.
